As the Sutter County Sheriff, I want to express how much I appreciate Jenna McKaye and her
foundation. The work Jenna does is meaningful and positively impacts those that have been
victimized by human trafficking. Jenna and I have known each other for about 8 years, and she
was instrumental in providing insight on several investigations I worked when I was the chief of
detectives. Jenna has helped train many of the law enforcement officers in our region on what
signs to look for in identifying a human trafficking victim. Her foundation works on both
preventative and proactive measures to help those in need of assistance. Jenna advocated for
recent legislative changes for tougher penalties on human traffickers and her personal story
continues to inspire change for so many. I am proud to call her a colleague but more importantly
a friend.

Jenna McKaye gives me hope for humankind! I met her when she was a shy, traumatized student, and have watched her grow into a powerful force for compassion and change in the world. The best experience a professor can have is when their students return to the campus and share the new knowledge they have gained—when the student becomes the master! Being Jenna's teacher was a very rewarding experience, but even more valuable for me has been the opportunity to learn from her, and be inspired by her leadership. Through her work with the Jenna McKaye Foundation, she makes the world and more informed, caring, and better place—one bold step at a time!

Allow me with great admiration and enthusiasm to extend my wholehearted endorsement for Jenna McKaye. Jenna is a courageous and resilient human trafficking survivor, who has used her adversity to make powerful changes. She is a symbol of strength, and compassion. Her foundation is instrumental in fighting for the much needed training and education in both our local communities and across our nation.
Jenna continually demonstrates her unwavering commitment to making a profound impact on our society in the area of educating others to raise awareness about human trafficking.
Jenna has assisted me for the past seven years. We first found one another at one of her training sessions. This started a wonderful friendship that has enhanced my ability to serve our community more effectively. She has helped individual survivors, given numerous trainings, and seminars. Along with bringing together a large coalition of people and services to make our communities safe.
I’m very proud to have watched her recent and very notable achievement. Jenna worked with university students, survivors, and alongside senators to pass SB 14. A true fight for a much needed bill giving harsher sentencing for human traffickers.
Her tireless efforts have undoubtedly contributed to a much greater understanding and importance on human trafficking. Her dedication to create a safer community and more just society is highly commendable. Jenna is a testament to the power of advocacy, resilience, and positive change.
I wholeheartedly support Jenna and her continued efforts through the Jenna McKaye Foundation. We’re lucky to have Jenna and her foundation building a future free of human trafficking.

It is with great pleasure and admiration that I acknowledge Ms. Jenna Mckaye's tremendous achievements as a public speaker and trainer in human trafficking education. Not only have I witnessed Ms. Mckaye's incredible public speaking journey of resilience and empowerment after surviving human trafficking, but I have also participated in her human trafficking healthcare training sessions.
Over the course of our collaboration her evolution has been remarkable. My first encounter with Ms. Mckaye was during the United Nations Global Strategic Operatives Human Trafficking Training Pilot in January 2020. This session took place at Northwell Health, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, the healthcare system's largest hospital location. For reference, Northwell Health is the second largest secular, non-profit health system in the United States and New York State's leading health care provider and private employer. With more than 85,000 team members, Ms. Jenna Mckaye trained hundreds of healthcare professionals over 3 days of human trafficking training. Her ability to deliver healthcare training while sharing her past experiences was exceptional from beginning to end. Its evident that her unwavering commitment has enabled her to reclaim her life, but also utilize her platform to raise awareness about the plight of human trafficking.
As a public speaker, Ms. Mckaye possesses a rare ability to connect with audiences on a deep and personal level. Not only is her story compelling, but it also serves as a beacon of hope for those facing similar issues, those who may know someone facing these issues, or for those who may encounter such individuals. She has a unique gift for conveying the complexities of her journey with authenticity and grace, making her sessions both impactful and enlightening. In addition to her developed speaking abilities, Ms. Mckaye demonstrates remarkable poise and professionalism in diverse settings. I have witnessed her address audiences ranging from small support groups to large conferences, always leaving a lasting impression and contributing valuable insights to discussions on human trafficking, survivorship, policy, and advocacy.
I am confident that she will make a profound impact on any audience as her public speaking trajectory will only ascend. I look forward to witnessing her future achievements and the positive impact she will undoubtedly have on audiences around the world.
Congratulations on your remarkable growth, Jenna, and may your journey as a public speaker continue to be filled with inspiration and success!!!
Warmly,
